FOUNDATION THEORIES OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT
1. Sinopsis / Synopsis :
Kursus ini akan membincangkan pelbagai teori asas pentadbiran dan pengurusan pendidikan yang merangkumi teori pengurusan saintifik, teori organisasi, teori sistem sosial, teori kepimpinan, teori tingkah laku, teori komunikasi dan yang berkaitan. Pelajar dijangka dapat menganalisis pendekatan pentadbiran pendidikan di Malaysia, prinsip-prinsip pengurusan dan kepimpinan awam serta implikasinya terhadap pentadbiran pendidikan pada masa depan.

The purpose of the course is to expose students to the many concepts and theories in educational administration and to prepare students for the additional knowledge that they will gain from other administrative courses. It will further assist students to be able to apply these theories to the tasks and roles that School heads and Administrative Executives perform in the educational setting. Experts suggest that almost every action that an administrator makes rests on a theory. Thus, this course examines the many different theories directly affecting educational institutions in Malaysia and their administrators.
